The Knoxville Hospital & Clinics survey to update the 2013 Community Health Needs Assessment held its first town hall meeting Tuesday night.

The hospital partnered with other community health providers and asked citizens to fill out an online survey to identify local healthcare needs. The meeting reviewed the new data and asked attendees to develop lists of community health strengths and needed improvements. The need for mental health resources was consistently identified as an important area for community members at the meeting. Knoxville Hospital and clinics will hold another meeting to brainstorm solutions for the health needs the meeting focused on.
