Two Democrats have declared that they intend to challenge House District 28 Republican Representative Greg Heartsill for his seat this election cycle.

Lois DeWaard of Pleasantville and Martin Duffy of Knoxville have both filed with the Secretary of State. Heartsill declared his intention to run for reelection in February.
