The first of five phases of the Oskaloosa Street reconstruction project in Pella is scheduled to begin Monday morning.

This phase will affect 225 feet of roadway from the centerline of East 16th Street heading east, with completion expected by early May. Though other utility work for the project may begin over the next few months, no other pavement work from East 16th to Prairie Street is scheduled until after Tulip Time. An open house will be held on April 7th from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Public Safety Complex to discuss the other phases of the nearly $3 million reconstruction project.
