A man accused of pointing a gun at his parents in Knoxville was sentenced Tuesday.
26-year-old Samuel Mark Ridnouer was charged with going armed with intent, a Class D felony. According to court documents, Knoxville police were called to a residence on Larson Street after Ridnouer’s parents said he’d pointed a gun at them. Police made contact with Ridnouer and he told them he’d retrieved a handgun from a personal safe in the basement following an argument and shoving match with his father.
