After coming up with a respectable 7-11 record last season, the PCM Girls soccer team will have to avoid starting out as slow as they did a year ago if they want to improve on that mark.
Last season started off with a three game losing streak that eventually grew to a 2-7 start. The end of the season went much better than the beginning as the girls found their groove and mustered a 5-4 record the rest of the way. The schedule does not get much easier for the Lady Mustangs, as they play Des Moines Hoover and Southeast Polk in two of their first three games. The Lady Mustangs bring back almost their entire roster minus two seniors, and will start the season on April 5th.
