With warmer weather comes a great opportunity to be outside, no bigger opportunity for Pleasantville High School boy’s athletes comes in the form of the Track and Field team.

A large amount of boys are competing this year for spots on the team, but what head coach Gabe Bakker is more concerned with is making sure everyone gets to participate and have a good time doing so. Not to say that competition won’t be fierce and that the team doesn’t take the competition seriously, but more to say that Track and Field can be an opportunity for everyone. Coach Bakker says that while they have identified several meets throughout the year that they will throw their top athletes out there with an aim to win, he also wants to make sure that every single person gets a chance to compete. The Trojans Track and Field Season starts on March 29th at Pella Christian.
