Two area soccer teams, and two fierce rivals, will open up their seasons and square off on the soccer field weather pending this afternoon as the PCM Mustangs travel to play the Eagles of Pella Christian.

The Eagles have won the last two matchups with a combined score of 10-2 including an 8-1 shellacking last year. Howver the Eagles will have to deal with the loss of leading goal scorer Jake De Ruiter to graduation and will look to Alex Pringle to take up the attacking mantle. The Mustangs are coming off a tough season where they failed to win a game but return every single goal scorer including leading scorer Tony Merrill. The two teams will face off at Pella Christian High School at 7pm, weather pending, and a full recap of the game will be available at KNIA/KRLS.com
