The Pella City Council will meet tonight to discuss further plans for the west substation ring bus improvement.

The council will set a public hearing date and authorize the taking of bids for construction. A contract will be awarded for the Washington Street reconstruction as well. This project will make the street wider and include new water services in the right-of-way. The council will also be discussing possible changes to parking in the Central Business District. This ordinance would remove the 3 hour parking limit as well as the restriction on parking between 2:00 am and 6:00 am. The meeting will be at 7:00 pm in the Public Safety Complex.
