A Pie Auction and Iowa State Flag sales supporting the Knoxville Library expansion project on Iowa Flag Day raised nearly $500.

Greg and Angie Heartsill, who coordinated the pie auction said they are dedicated to promoting Knoxville’s unique place in history as the birthplace of the Iowa Flag.
