Lieutenant Aaron Fuller with the Knoxville Police Department tells KNIA/KRLS News nude photos of Knoxville High School students have been found on some student’s cell phones and are purportedly in circulation among students.

Lt. Fuller says that at this point, the investigation is in the information gathering stage. Students are being interviewed. Fuller points out that possession of this material is a crime with potentially serious consequences. Superintendent of Schools Cassi Pearson says the administration has been cooperating with the investigation, and that she encourages parents to talk to their children about the life-altering consequences of sharing digital photos and other information inappropriately.
