Knoxville’s Peace Tree Brewing is expanding its operations into the East Village of Des Moines.

Owner Megan McKay tells KNIA/KRLS News the lease for the building was signed Friday. The brewing company, which just celebrated its sixth anniversary, won a gold medal in the “Belgian-Style Blonde Ale or Pale Ale” category for its beer Blonde Fatale at the 2014 World Beer Cup. The expansion will be at 317 E. Court Ave.
