Union Street Players presents their spring production this week.

Four shows of Almost, Maine will be shown at the Pella Community Center Thursday through Sunday. Show Director Kevin McQuade says seven actors and the production crew will share multiple stories of love in the fictional town of Almost, Maine.

Tom Vander Well with Union Street Players says the community theatre troupe typically does smaller, edgier productions in the spring.

“The joy of it is, from an acting perspective and from a cast perspective is that we get a chance to do some things we don’t normally get to do,” Vander Well says.

He hopes attendance will be higher than in other April shows in years’ past.
