Farmers who experienced damage to conservation structures such as terraces, waterways or ponds during the heavy rains last summer, may be eligible for cost share assistance under the Emergency Conservation Program.

Signup for assistance began on April 4, and will end on June 3. To be eligible for cost share, producers must complete the application process. An on-site inspection will then be conducted and producers will be notified of the results. Repair must not be completed prior to the application and inspection being completed. If eligible, producers could receive cost share of 75% to make the repairs. Farmers are encouraged to contact the Marion County FSA Office for more information.
