Pella Corporation announced Tim Yaggi is the organization’s new president and chief executive officer.

“We conducted an extensive, nationwide search focused on finding a proven leader with profound experience, a strong commitment to profitable growth, and who shared our culture and values,” Chairman of the Board and interim President and CEO Adam Farver said in a statement. “We found all of that and more with Mr. Tim Yaggi. Tim has demonstrated the ability to create value and drive sustained business results as well as build high-performing teams.”

Yaggi’s most recent position was chief operating officer and interim president and CEO at Tempur Sealy International, which is the world’s largest bedding provider. Prior to his work in bedding, Tim served at MASCO Corporation as Group President of the North America Builder Group where he oversaw a portfolio of seven independent companies with 15,000 employees. Yaggi also held a number of senior management positions at Whirlpool Corporation, most recently as executive vice president, North America Market Operations.

As I begin my new role, I will be focused on leveraging our solid competitive advantages and talented team to build upon Pella’s strong brand and product innovation pipeline as we continually focus on enhancing value for Pella customers.”

Tim’s first official day will be Monday, May 9 and he and his wife, Kim, will be relocating to Pella, Iowa from Lexington, Kentucky in the near future.

Former CEO Pat Meyer resigned in October 2015 after 25 years with the company and approximately six years as Pella Corporation’s leader.
