A group of Central College PR students held a special presentation Thursday night to educate fellow students about the food chain.

The class partnered with Eat Greater Des Moines to show the documentary Food Patriots and shared locally produced concessions.

Senior Andrew Buenger tells KNIA/KRLS News those in attendance were challenged to learn more about their food. Classmate Sarah Purdy says the theme resonates with an overall message on campus.

A question and answer session was held after the movie with Sustainability experts at Central.
