The 63rd racing season at the Knoxville Raceway will get underway tonight. One of the most anticipated seasons of racing also has new leadership as Kendra Jacobs takes over the marketing end of the track. Jacobs tells KNIA/KRLS Sports that the Knoxville Raceway is a special place and they do not need to ask a driver to race…they already show up on their own. There may be start power on the track as well as Brian Brown, Ian Madsen and others will be on hand tonight to get the season underway.
