With solid showings up and down their line-up, the Pella High girls’ tennis team repeated as champions of the Indianola girls’ tennis invitational yesterday. Pella won a total of 123 games, a dozen more than second place Southeast Polk. The host Indians were third and Ankeny finished fourth. Lily Roozeboom went 3 – 0 in the No. 1 singles bracket, and the doubles team of Natalie Meyer and Patience Dykstra also were flawless in the No. 2 doubles bracket. Bronwyn Metcale and Lauren Kriegel lost only once to take second place each. Full results are below. The Lady Dutch head to Norwalk next on Tuesday for a conference dual.
