The Pella City Council will review amendments to the city’s comprehensive plan at their meeting Tuesday.

But, the potential changes to the future land use map do not include the controversial Main and Union property where Casey’s is attempting to move in. Instead, the focus will be on updating zoning changes previously approved by the city’s Planning and Zoning Commission in 2015.

The council will also hold the second readings for ordinances amending the city’s fee schedule for false alarm fire calls and easing restrictions on three-hour parking near Washington Street.

Their meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the Public Safety Complex.
