Members of the Friendly Guys and Gals 4-H Club were working to restore the Hull-Dewitt pioneer cemetery in Knoxville on Saturday.

The group dug up and reset damaged stones in the cemetery, dating to around the founding of Knoxville in 1845. Club President Travis Poffenbarger tells KNIA/KRLS News giving new life to stones and the people they memorialize is an important service that teaches members the value of service and respecting their history. The club will be improving burial sites throughout the spring and summer.
