Will Prather and the Knoxville Economic Development Commission presented ideas in regards to housing in Knoxville.

Prather, a former developer, shared information about the history of development in Knoxville and theories explaining the decline in population the city has experienced over the past 15 years. KEDC Members suggested a public-partnership in order to deal with lack of development in Knoxville and the detrimental impact it has had on the city’s economy. City Council members suggested information gathering strategies to give the proposed partnership direction and made plans for a future session to further the idea.
