The undefeated Pleasantville Girls Golf Team, which has had the meet medalist in every single event this season, continued their dominance by blowing away their conference competition in the Pride of Iowa Conference Meet at Bedford yesterday, winning by 52 strokes ahead of second place Mount Ayr.

The Trojans would have the top three finishers of the meet, with Hannah Gordon claiming meet medalist honors with an 18-hole round of 85, runner-up Avari Heinz-Penz would shoot a 93, and Bailey Oliva would get third with a 97. The Boys team would have to make the long road trip to Southwest Valley for their conference meet and place second, just 12 strokes behind Nodaway Valley. Senior Joe Day would shoot an 82 to lead the Trojans and place seventh, and Caleb Adreon would card an 83 good enough for eighth. Head Coach Joel Allman tells KNIA/KRLS Sports that he was happy with the finish, but wishes the team would have shot as well on the back nine as they did on the front. The conference champion girls will next golf tomorrow in a large meet at Honey Creek, and the boys will tee off Thursday at Walden Park against I-35.
