The May meeting of Marion County Democratic Central Committee will be held on Tuesday, May 17, at 6:30 p.m., at Deng’s Garden in Knoxville.

All are welcome to attend. Visitors are encouraged to arrive at 5:30 p.m. to have dinner and conversation before the meeting. Marty Duffy and Lois DeWaard, candidates hoping to unseat Republican Representative Greg Heartsill will be present at the meeting and available to answer questions about their campaigns. Late spring and summer are busy times for political campaigns, and political events are just around the corner in Marion County.
