The Pella Track and Field teams racked up the hardware at the high school state championships.

The boys are the Class 3A champions and the girls’ were 2nd place to a record breaking Assumption team.

Chase Van Sant was an individual 1st place winner in the long jump, and tells KNIA/KRLS winning the title was hard to describe.

“The feeling was unreal,” he says.

The Lady Dutch shuttle hurdle relay team was also an individual champion.
