The Pella softball team won big 12-1 in five innings against Des Moines North High School Tuesday.

The team knocked out 12 hits with four stolen bases. Senior Alexa Dingeman went 3 for 3 with two runs, 3 RBI and a double. Sara Tallman, Hannah Emmert, and Destiny Brown each went 2 for 3 and combined for six runs.

Kinzi Van Wyk earned the win on the mound, striking out six in three shutout innings.

The 1-0 Lady Dutch will open up on their home field Thursday against Lynnville-Sully, a game that can be heard live on 92.1 KRLS.
