A cold start on offense and a tough schedule has been the theme for the start of the season for the Pleasantville Baseball team.

Through two games the Trojans have picked up only two hits, one by senior center fielder Brock Busick and senior pitcher/first baseman Zeb Adreon, but no one is panicking yet. The defending state runner-up had some holes to fill from last year’s squad and at the beginning of the season with some players getting their first varsity experience there will be an adjustment period. The problem for the Trojans? The schedule will continue with state tournament attendee and traditional powerhouse Martensdale-St. Mary’s on Tuesday. A full recap of the game will be available on KNIAKRLS.com
