All four Tulip City baseball and softball teams are gearing up for the Little Hawkeye Conference season at home tonight.

Pella Christian will take on rival Albia at home before beginning conference action Wednesday. Baseball skipper Nathan Johnson tells KNIA/KRLS Sports his 2-0 Eagles will have to continue their early season pitching success if they are going to slow down the Blue Demons.

The Little and Lady Dutch are also on their own turf tonight, with the boys hosting Nevada and the girls hosting Colfax Mingo. Jesse Jablonski says he’s hoping to get his rotation ready for the upcoming grind in the months of June and July.

All varsity games tonight begin at 7:30 in Pella.
