The PCM Softball team would fall 4-2 last night on the road against the Raiders of C-M-B last night, while the baseball squad would lose in walkoff fashion also to C-M-B 2-1.

Kayla Jennings would take the loss for the Lady Mustangs despite striking out six. Katie Vandewall would hit one over the fence, Jayci Vos would get two hits and Abby Waddell would also scrap together a hit. For the baseball team, the Mustangs would go ahead 1-0 in the fourth and hold that until the bottom of the sixth where the Raiders would tie, then the bottom of the seventh where a run put an “L” in the column. The tough luck loss goes to Noah Henkenius who pitched 6 1/3 giving up only four hits, while the bats were quiet for the Mustangs led by Noah Clark and Clay Cooper who each picked up a hit. Both teams will get right back at it today facing North Polk, the gals on the road with the boys hosting.
