Looking to keep pace in the South Central Conference baseball race, Knoxville will travel to Albia, who in many circles is the conference favorite this season. Knoxville is 2-1 on the season in conference play after falling to Centerville on Tuesday. Panthers Assistant Coach Tyler Pearson tells KNIA/KRLS the coaching staff has been making adjustments during and even before the games to get the guys ready. Pearson adds Albia always gives Knoxville battle no matter who is up or down at the time. Albia gave Knoxville its only loss in the conference last season. The varsity double-header is scheduled to start at five.
