The Melcher-Dallas Softball Squad dropped a 7-1 decision to Nodaway Valley at The Murray Invitational on Friday. Emilie Krpan took the loss. She allowed seven runs in five innings, walked two and struck out six. The lone run of the game for Melcher-Dallas crossed the plate in the third inning on an error. Nodaway Valley never trailed after scoring five runs in the third. The Saints return to Murray for day two of the invitational today.
