The Pella Police Department has joined the Pella Fire Department in earning top honors from the American Lung Association.

Police team members raised more than $1000 and were top among law enforcement groups participating in the Fight for Air Climb in April.

Between Pella Fire, the PD, and Pella resident Emily Haase’s team, more than $11,000 was raised for the American Lung Association from the Tulip City this year.
