Two area trending upward baseball squads would face off last night, Pleasantville would top PCM by a score of 6-4.
Colton Major would start on the mound and get the win for the Trojans going six strong innings, and Gauge Van Haalen would pick up the save throwing the final frame holding off a strong Mustang rally. Brock Busick would continue his strong start at the plate with a two RBI single in the sixth inning to help put away the Mustangs. Zeb Adreon would get two hits while Ethan Worthington picked up one. For PCM, Braden Phifer would have an RBI single and Tyler Foster would have three hits in three at bats and score a run. The win is Pleasantville’s third in a row which brings them to 3-2 and they will play in a tournament this afternoon, while PCM drops to 4-3.
