Traffic was slowed in both directions on Highway 163 in Otley Friday afternoon for a multiple car crash at Mile Marker 34.

A dark grey van, a white pickup and a reddish colored sedan were involved in the accident, with all three vehicles receiving significant damage at the intersection of 160th Place and Baldwin Street along 163. Each automobile was towed away from the scene. Multiple personnel from Pella Ambulance and Pella Rural Fire assisted.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is handling the investigation. One person was transported to an area hospital by ambulance.
