The Knoxville Softball Squad was in need of a big win last night, and the Panthers got it by defeating the sixth ranked team in class 3A Clarke 9-7. The Panthers hit the ball well with Maddy Findley and Shaye Nichols hitting triples and each getting three RBI. Delaynne South got the win going the distance with seven runs on 13 hits and one walk. The Panthers are now 4-7 on the season and even their South Central Conference record at 2-2. Knoxville travels to Chariton on Wednesday.
