It may be a warmer summer than average, according to an outlook issued by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
However, according to NOAA’s monthly climate forecast, it may be July before longer stretches of excessive heat arrive. They predict a 33% chance of a cooler than a typical June. The average daily temperature in Marion County this month is 81 for the high and 61 for the low.
