A two to three year old boy entered the street and struck a car as the car was passing through the intersection of Roche and East Robinson Wednesday shortly before 5 p.m in Knoxville.
Preliminary investigation suggests the driver was driving safely when the child entered the street hitting the car. The child was conscious and crying while being loaded into the ambulance. He was transported to the Knoxville Hospital and Clinics with apparent non-life threatening injuries. Knoxville Fire and Rescue, the Knoxville Police Department, and a Marion County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to the scene.
