The 6th annual June Jog will be held this Saturday.

The Knoxville Recreation Center and Knoxville Hospital and Clinics are putting on the 5K and 2 mile events. Registration begins at 7 a.m at the Rec center and the starting gun will be fired at 8 a.m. Ribbons and medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each age group. The cost is $25 for the 5K and $8 for the 2 mile race. Recreation Director Brandon Nemmers says the race is a great way to promote activity in the community. KNIA/KRLS’s Big Red Radio will be at the event making announcements and playing music.
