The Knoxville Softball Squad fell to Chariton last night 9-3. The held a lead early but Chariton grabbed the lead for good midway through the game. Delaynne South took the loss for the Panthers going six innings giving up nine hits, a walk, and a strikeout. Carrie Chambers and Anna Sanderson went 2/3 at the plate. Knoxville is now 4-8 on the season and 2-3 in the South Central Conference. The Panthers head to Davis County on Friday.
