Service employees and their managers are encouraged to participate in special training this week to help welcome visitors to the community.

The Pella Convention and Visitors Bureau is hosting a free frontline customer service training session Wednesday from 8 to 10 a.m.

CVB Director Jill Vandevoort tells KNIA/KRLS News the presentation by Brenda Clark Hamilton is aimed at developing skills in employees critical to helping visitors feel welcome in the community.

Those who would like to sign up for the session at the Central College Graham Annex are asked to contact the Pella Convention and Visitors Bureau.
