The Christian Opportunity Center (COC) is getting set for its 15th annual golf classic.
Jacob Dreyer with COC says the event this Friday serves as a fundraiser for their programs.
“Christian Opportunity Center provides residential, vocational, and spiritual support for those with disabilities, and we do that in multiple counties here in southern Iowa,” Dreyer says. “So really, what this event does is it helps us raise funds and awareness for the organization as a whole.”
The entry fee for individual golfers is $150 for 18 holes of golf, catered dinner and live and silent auctions at Bos Landen Golf Course.
Dinner tickets are $20 per person and do not require participation in the golf event. The KNIA/KRLS Lil’ Big Red Radio will be at the event from 10 a.m. to noon with live broadcasts. Hear more from Dreyer about the 15th Annual COC Golf Classic on Let’s Talk Pella.
