A Pella man is accused of receiving a package with meth inside via U.S. Mail.

Tyler William Adams, 24, was arrested on a warrant this week and charged with failure to affix a drug tax stamp, a class D felony, and possession of a controlled substance – 2nd offense.

According to court records, US Postal inspectors seized a suspicious parcel addressed to Adams. A K9 unit indicated the package contained narcotics. Police executed a search warrant after Adams signed for the package, and say it contained more than seven grams of methamphetamine.
