The checkered flag crosswalk across from the Knoxville Raceway underwent maintenance work last night.

Dennis Webb with the Knoxville Street Department tells KNIA/KRLS News work began at 8 p.m. and was only partly completed. The work will be finished at a future date. Traffic lanes were closed one lane at a time so traffic could continue to pass.
