Activities at Lake Red Rock continue this upcoming weekend.

Park Ranger Tracy Spry says young children and their families can join the Army Corps of Engineers for short “little walks” to investigate the world on June 23rd from 10 to 11 a.m. On Saturday at 10:30 a.m., “Lions in the Park” will focus on a search for ant lions at Howell Station Campground. Pond Exploration will be held at 1 p.m. at South Tailwater, and a special presentation about the butterflies of Iowa is at 9 p.m. in the Whitebreast Amphitheatre.
