The PCM Baseball team once again played tough into the late innings but could not emerge victorious against North Polk last night 8-6.
Noah Henkenius started on the mound for the Mustangs and pitched six innings, only exiting the game after succumbing to an injury caused by diving for a bunt popup. The loss marks the seventh time out of 14 that the Mustangs have lost by two runs or less, and puts their record at 7-14. The Softball team would have their game with the Comets of North Polk postponed due to lightning, and will likely make up the game on Friday. The Baseball squad next plays at home tonight against CMB.
