Two complete games from Pella High’s top two pitchers sent the Little Dutch to their second consecutive conference championship last night in Norwalk. Game one went Pella’s way, 5 – 2; Hillman threw seven inning, giving up five hits and striking out nine. Grant Judkins was 3-for-3 at the plate with a double, and Jaden Rolffs had a double and drove in two. Game two was a shutout of the Warriors, 7 – 0. Judkins struck out ten, and didn’t allow a hit until there were two outs in the sixth. He also went 2-for-3 at the plate with a pair of doubles and drove in three more runs. Hillman had three hits in the nightcap, and Payton Shull had two hits. The Lady Dutch were shutout by Norwalk, 10 – 0. The boys improve to 21 – 6 overall, the Lady Dutch are 14 – 15; baseball plays tomorrow at home versus Newton, while the girls play at North Mahaska tonight.
