The Pleasantville Baseball Team got their winning streak to 10 last night with an easy 5-1 win over North Mahaska.
Kyle Amendt started on the mound for the Trojans and went the distance improving the surging sophomore’s record to 4-1 on the mound. Ethan Worthington picked up three hits at the dish and see’s his average go to .385 on the season. The Trojans are now 22-8 and will take the holiday weekend off before playing Southeast Warren on Wednesday. The Trojan Softball Squad rounded out their regular season with a 6-1 loss to Nodaway Valley last night. Abby DeJoode took the loss on the mound, and the Trojans couldn’t get much going offensively but were led by Hannah Gordon who put together a pair of hits. The Trojans end their regular season 15-11, and will next compete on Tuesday in postseason action.
