Fourth of July Activities are scheduled throughout the day today in Pella.
Activities on the downtown square are ongoing through the afternoon. The annual 4th of July Parade is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. along Franklin Street near downtown. Pella’s outdoor aquatic center is open from 4 to 7 p.m., and the City Band performs on the Tulip Toren at 7 p.m.
4th of July Committee Chair Paul Kingma says fireworks begin at dusk by Madison Elementary.
