The Knoxville City Council met in regular session Tuesday.
The council discussed possible action regarding downtown parking, approved a special event application for the Knoxville Chamber Of Commerce Nationals Parade, approved a business agreement with Lisco in regards to Fiber internet service, began amending the code of ordinances to create a storm water utility, and discussed strategic plan proposals, among other items. Knoxville City Manager Aaron Adams says some adjustments have been made to the storm water proposal as of the first reading. The cost per unit of impermeable surface has increased from $4 to $6 and the caps for industrial and commercial properties have increased.
