With election campaigning set to ramp up all across the country as national conventions come and go, many local legislators running unopposed are supporting their parties ahead of November.
Representative Guy Vander Linden participated in Pella’s 4th of July parade and the most recent Thursdays in Pella, and says he aimed to reach out to a large portion of his support base. Vander Linden is running unopposed in the Iowa House, and is working to secure the majority currently held by the Republican Party.
