A water main break occurred at the corner of Lincoln and Long Lane in Knoxville yesterday.
The break was repaired and water restored, but a boil advisory is in effect until Friday at approximately noon, pending water test results. The area impacted is north of Long Lane, and includes Motor Inn, Marion County Public Health, campgrounds, an apartment complex and the hotels on the northern part of Knoxville, among other businesses and homes.
