A well-pitched ballgame from Lucas Hileman provided the spark the Pella High baseball team needed in their 7 – 1 win over Perry last night. The Little Dutch came through with three runs in the third, which ultimately was enough, as Hileman shutdown the Bluejays with six innings of one-run ball, allowing only two hits, two walks, and an unearned run. Pella added four more runs in the sixth and had 11 hits for the night; Grant Judkins went 3-for-5 at the plate, Caleb Piersma had a pair of knocks, as did Landon Vander Leest. The Little Dutch are now 26 – 8, and they wrap up the regular season tonight at home versus A-D-M.
